Ornäs

Carl-Gustaf Hiort af Ornäs (1911 –1996) was a Finnish furniture designer who headed his own furniture factory, Puunveisto, in Lauttasaari in Helsinki from the 1940s to the 1970s. He believed in Danish-style handcrafted furniture production of high quality. As a designer, he was ahead of his time in developing impressive plywood furniture of sculpturally curved forms. In 2016, Fasetti began to reissue furniture designed by Carl-Gustaf Hiort af Ornäs, who was known for his high-quality work.
